In the Crypt of Bersault, there are two circular rooms with stairs that descend into the floor. By using one of two crystals in either room, the staircases stay raised above the floor. It appears as though you can only do one room or the other, not both. At the top of either staircase is an altar with a flame on it, and in the flame is a runic idol. I took the red one (Wizard's Jindol)in the room on the right. Does it matter which one you grab? What are they for? Please help. Thanks in advance!

You have choosen the wizards path. This excludes the warrior path.
(You have two choices, but you will end up at the same spot later in the game)I did not find the "Wiz path" any easier or harder than the
"Warr path".
You have to use the jindol in the room to the far left.
This room has three doors (the on you entered + Two more that are locked. Placing the jindol on the right spot opens the door to the wizards path . Good luck. Remember to save often.
