My ship seems to have gotten stuck near the shipwreck (appropriately enough) where you meet Talric (sp
?) to give him his hook back. Also, I cannot buy another one at town.

2 questions please.

1. Do I need the ship? (Other than to navigate the water faster)
2. Any way of getting it free?

Side note: this portal trick seems to work with any thing you "ride", horses and rafts included (does every1 know this already? I just realised it )

Yes, a lot of people (incl. me) had their ship stuck there. I'm not sure if it is intentional: the shipwreck should be a warning to you !?

Okay, I'll elaborate some more. Cast create portal (moon 6) in a place with enough water around. Go back to the ship, go aboard (click on wheel), and cast teleport. Poof, there you go to the portal, ship and all.
