ok there is a ghost named Spirit of Rumphy is he for anything can i kill kim or do i have to keep him alive for something can anyone tell me thanks?

Rumphy is a nice "perk" in the game. He regenerates everytime you enter (reload) the Crypt. Great for several different things:

1: He's worth cumulative 6700+ XP, divvied among how many characters you have (in a 6 character party, he's worth 1100+ XP per character). Great for training characters up levels.
2: He always carries a Wand of Stars, which, when ID'd, sells for 625 GP. Kill him as many times as you want, grab the wands, and sell them back in Valeia for money to buy new skills/training/items/etc.
3: Have your thief practice "pickpocket" on him to get the Wand of Stars.
4: Whenever you change roles, go back to the Crypt and challenge Rumphy. He's great for getting your character advanced quickly in his/her new role.
5: If you have a Paladin who got the Crusader trait (double XP for killing undead), Rumphy's XP level doubles for him/her, even if they're no longer a Paladin. Great reason to keep a Paladin around until you get Crusader. You also mop up in Shurugeon Castle and Skull Castle later in the game. You have to be 5th level Priest's guild (the Galian quest in Ishad N'ha gives you that) to get Crusader.
