Level 12 lock??? are they kidding?

How am I supposed to open this room in Skull castle....my lockpick skills aren't even above 5.

Any suggestions would be great....tried spell pry also...that didn't work.

Just to clarify - do you mean the door to the north in the Lich's study, or the door to the south?

I didn't have difficulty opening the door to the north - small room with some treasure. I do suggest you do some training in your lockpick skill - it is useful!
The door to the south you cannot open from inside the Study and you don't need to either. It's an alternate exit from G'essered's chamber.

Yeah, it's the small treasure room I guess. No biggie then...I'll pass it up unless I can find level 12 lock picks.

Only leaves Madda (or whatever her name is,) left in Skull castle.....I'm supposed to waste her right? Some quest from town?

You can bash it open with a strong character. (It's not trapped.)
You can get the key for the lock from Adrianna, but if you can open the lock another way you can choose her ring.

Unfortunately I killed her and there was no key (bummer.) Is that where the vamp. ring is? Would love to have it as my Palidin got bit way back in Shurigen (or whatever,) castle, and sick of casting toughen every 5 minutes.
