In my current game I have duel-classed Imoen. At level 7 mage she had two level 5 spell slots, when she went to level 8 she lost those two slots. I reloaded an old save and did the same thing to make sure I wasn't losing my mind and at level 8 the two spell slots disappear. I wonder if I get to level 9 will I start losing level 4 spells or will I get my spell slots back? I have DSotSC installed, I will find out later I guess after I dig a bit deeper in Durlag's Tower.

In BGII there's a bug where the game gives a mage too much spell-slots when leveling up ... it then corrects its own mistake when you level up again.

This sounds very similar .. I suggest make a save-game now, and just continue playing, if the game keeps on erasing spell-slots, while it shouldnt, download a patch and load your previous savegame.

A mage isn´t supposed to have any level 5 Spells on XP-Level 7. You get the first level 5 Spell at ninth level, so it sounds like the bug daan suggested.

i need the magic item that gives automatic 10th level and down spells with 20 slots a piece, and contains the spell of two bisexual nymphs..... oops musta been dreaming, damnit [img]tongue.gif[/img]

There MUST be SOMETHING in the CHEATS console to create nymphs. LOL. That was funny Grungi.

Back on topic, sounds like the bug and correction described above.

Next level, and regained the spells again. It obviously corrected itself.
