Alright, I am mostly looking for the best armor there is
and for a few magic tomes, could anyone help me out in these

Early on, the best armor you can get would most likely be the ankheg plate, available by searching the field in Nashkell. As for the tomes, they are scattered throughout the game. In total, vanilla BG has 7, one for each ability except wisdom, which there are two for. TotSC adds a third. It being 2:30 am here right now I can only remember the location of one off the top of my head right now, which is in one of the caves on the SW area of the gnoll stronghold...

The best armor is unenchanted Full Plate. Buy it from Taerom Fuiruim in Beregost, loot it from Taugosz Khosann, or if you have ToSC, there's a third set in Durlag's Tower -3.

Book of Strength: Chapter 6, Catacombs
Book of Dexterity: Chapter 5, Thieves' Guild
Book of Constitution: Chapter 1, Flesh Golem Cave
Book of Intelligence: Chapter 5, Ramazith's Tower
Book of Wisdom: Chapter 5, Temple of Tymora / Chapter 6, Catacombs / ToSC: Chapter 4, Durlag's Tower
Book of Charisma: Chapter 3, Gnoll Stronghold

theres actually 3 for wisdom but if you dont give the 3rd one to that cleric you'll die horribly [img]smile.gif[/img] so take yer pick [img]smile.gif[/img]

Best armour depends on your character. If he/she can wear it, it's full plate. The unenchanted version.

cos ankheg or +1 +2 armours etc interfere with being able to wear any other protective clothing,... damnit :(
