been up above elevator, found seceret room with ring under the table, opened the chest grabbed the loot, looked all over the room for switches or levers, followed the hallway to the wall where it opens up back to the white statue, still no switches. HELP!!!

There are no switches. If you are trying to open the grate by the statue. Look at the locket you got from the mummy. Say the words to the statue.
