I've heard, some of you plaing W&W on Windows 2000. I tried it either, but experiencing some problem - some parts of playing screen disappearing, for example characters portraits etc.
Any suggestions how to play in Win2000 ? |
How to play in Win2K? Don't.
I've got a win2k machine on my little network, and I tried installing & playing W&W there; bad results, same kind of graphics problems that you're talking about. I only run this game on my '98 box now, and it works splendidly. |

Stupid double post thing

I posted an indepth solution to this problem, but since no one was interested, it fell to the bottom of the list quickly.
I'll see if I can find it and push it to the top *sigh* -Saz |
Hey Saz,
don't confuse 'not interested' with 'nothing to add'. You can't tell how many people used it; only who were so kind as to leave a thanks or a yippee with it. (A certain video driver post comes to mind. ) Anyway, I think it's great that someone takes the time to write these recipes down, but if you do such a thorough job, I find I've got nothing to add! |
