I cant seem to think of a single good weapon she can use. And I dont want
to venture down in Durlag's Tower. And where can Club +1, +3 vs. Unnatural Creatures be found. And I want her to use a shield. Dumping her is not an alternative! So, any good ideas?

The club is made available in ToSC, but it appears to be a bit of an 'easter egg' extra. If you're desparate to get it then there is one solution:

If you enable the cheats within BG use the create item command and type in the code 'BLUN10' - this should give you a club +1, +3 against unnaturals in your inventory.

I just give her a scimitar and let her run wild. It is one handed as well so she can still use a shield.

Scimitar? Now what cheat enables you to use scimitars in BG1...?

What about A Sling w/ a backup staff of striking? That is what I have he Equipped with and she hasent been killed yet. This allows her to help in missle as well as melee combat. This also allows her to carry a shield

i had her use quaterstaves through both sagas, she's very effiecent, and there are some great quaterstaves

They can be bought in some places if you have TOTSC installed. They're fairly uncommon though. I think you can by them from Winthrop right at the start of the game and maybe a couple other spots.

Personally, I just give Jaheira a club and sling. Club is just fine early on and then later just give her a sling with +2 bullets. If you have TOTSC you can also give her the staff mace.... ah yes, the staff mace :D
