Kinda wondering, i need something to get in the stout mines, but ive heard that only the stout king can give me the permission, well ive travelled many places , i tried to get tru the dragon spire but i cant pass till i get the dragon armor i think which is in stout mines, but i need to find these ppl, where can i find?

Do you have the quest from the mayor to find the wolf-beast and kill it? When travelling throught the woods, you will come across a burnt stout miner corpse. Next to this corpse is a Miner's Permit. After you find the body, you will encounter the wolf-beast.

yea ive got that quest, oh another thing, is that *beast* near the stout mines? and another thing too, there is a dragon b4 i can get to the stout mines, do i have to kill it since he dont seems very friendly

No the beast is somewhere in the woods. If your talking about Erathsmador, it doesn't matter if you kill him. If your talking about a Griffin, then yes.

well i was talking about griffin, everytimes i try to get near him he attacks me, i didnt attack back yet cuz i didnt know if u had to attack him.. hmm, maybe when i found stout people i may get some answers.

No, that Griffin is just what we call a "jerk". Kill the fool, and proceed to the Stout Mines.

As I recall, that chest (and corpse) was found in a cul-de-sac clearing north of the Stout mines.
