I've reached a point in the dragon spire that is like a wall, keeping me from moving forward. I have flipped the lever to load the dungeon, crossed the bridge, and placed the letter in the box. When I rounded the corner,the bronze firebeast hit me with flames. However, when I tried to continue on, I hit an invisible barrier. I have tried each character. I have tried to run, run and jump, walk backwards and sideways. I've even pushed a crate across to try to jump on, but it just won't work. I would appreciate your advice!

Typically, you should select the character that's wearing the Dragon Armor and then push past the firebeast on the left (or right) side until you reach the left passage and can click on the lever to deactivate the firebeast.
Sometimes swinging the cursor side-to-side helps while pushing forward.

You will need the Dragon Armor from the Stout Mines in order to continue from that point. It is fire proof and you can get it from the king after completing his quest.
