I resurected Anephas and exited the temple by the underwater passage...
now what? I'm in a Small lake with no apparent exits...what now?

Head back down to the Shrine, go north to the altar room, and take the NW corridor. Go past the fallen column room and in the statue room click on the lever on the left side.

All you have to do is head NW from Anephas' Tomb into a room with 2 statues, one on each wall. The one on the left has a lever to flip. Outside is a primative elevator, just click on the rope to go up. Welcome to the forum Granmacron!
