I've been through the stout mine and have got my main character wearing the Dragon Armor, but I cant get any further than about halfway down the corridor to where the firebreather is. Monsters and other crazy critters can come out from there but the screen just jumps around and wont let me get in.

I did notice that the voice over said 'there must be another way' I tried falling off the bridge, hoping there would be a tunnel or something but to no avail.

I'm trying to work out if it's because I've enchanted the Dragon Armor so that's why it won't let me in or if there's some other reason.

Any tips?

Can you tell what bridge do you mean? That one I'm thinking aboul is definately AFTER Fire beast.

Your main character might have the armour - is he the lead, and do you have him selected??

Oh, I've just thought about the bridge in the very beginning of the Spire and have a question (stupid question, may be) - did you push the lever near Entrance door to the Spire? You know, that kind of levers that loads dungeons in W&W.

Hello Pentaprism! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/wavey.gif Its like Davros said. Your person with the dragon armor on must be in the lead; so select them before you go in to fight. You must still fight all the critters and monsters, but you should be able to get down the tunnel and complete your business and

Thanks for your replies everyone. The part of the Dragon cave that wasn't letting me through is just after the narrator says "...there must be another way..." So I figured I wasn't doing somethine right.

I tried with my leading character and it didn't work...again, so I might make another trip to the stout mines and get King Frey to knock up me another set of dragon armor.

The other thing i tried was sticking erzabettes letter in the drawer just inside the dragonspire cave...not sure if it does anything though.

The bridge I tried falling off is the one you cross before you get to the bronze jigger. I did the lever pullin' as well, but I suppose it's a matter of tinkering for a while until that dang bronze thing lets me in.

Do you have the VANISH spell?? You can try that in the Bronze Dragon corridor and see if you happen to end up beyond the head and its flames. SAVE your game before trying this!

Don't understand why you are having difficulty with this since you have Dragon Armor. If you still cannot manage it - email me.

Stick to the LEFT of the corridor and press past the firebeast. That usually gets most people through.
