Okay, so I was trying to identify the "master key' used for the shurgeon castle.

However, I accidently dropped it. (in town) Without realizing it, I saved over the game and kept playing. For quite a while, actually. and now that I have 4 of 5 of the artificats of evil, I realize there's no way to get the last artifiact without that key!

Or is there? Is there a way to open locks w/o keys? Is there a hex editor somewhere? Please help!

I just retrieved the 5 elements, which ones have you gotten? I only remember 2 doors that required the key, both right in the beginning (in the room with the pool in the center).

There is a solution - I can hack you a key if you send me a ZIPped or RARed copy of your gamexx.sav (no other files).

A good lesson to learn from this is to SAVE OFTEN and SAVE IN DIFFERENT SLOTS! Typically I keep 4 saves going while I'm playing. Check the BEST TIPS thread!

Yeah, I lost the same key! I have been looking for a couple days to find it but no luck so far. I have all the elements and only need the key to open the throne room. Have you open that door yet, the north one? If you have you should be ok, unlike me! I keep 3 saved games but none are far enough back to help me, so I'm probably going to have to start over. At least maybe I can create the "perfect party" -yeah right!LOL!-and not make some of the same mistakes! Well, I hope your luck is better than mine.
