First off, you don't need to post this message four times. Posters here live around the globe, and it takes a while for people to read your post. Don't worry, your post WILL be answered. Posting it several times won't get it answered any faster but will make people irritated.

And now, your question.

If you reach the edge of a map, you should be able to click on it to go to a new area. The mouse pointer will change to a different shape. I believe you need to go east (right) on your current map to leave it. You need to have all of your party together (if there are other people in your party) in order to change maps.

Also, try this link for more information about BG1:

(Hehe...there's Jarulf's Guide, the bible for Diablo 1...is this Six's Guide, the bible for BG1? Hmm...)

Ive I was you I should close some of your threads, because the are all the same and if a moderator finds it out that you are ''spamming'' and polluting the forum you can be given a warning, even get banned so...

I advice you to take a look at the ''Rules and Regulations'' for a detailed view of how things go here... just a simple advice though ;)

Hey, the Guide covers BG2 as well, ya know. ;) "Volothamp's Comeuppance: It's not just for BG1 any more."

And the link is actually http://www.geocities.com/sixospades/bg/bgguide.htm, so there.

DUDE 77, here's the info you want, Cut & Pasted from my site: It's so fundamental to the game, it's in the very first chapter.

Quote:

At the start of BG1, your map starts out almost completely blank. Your character knows the locations of the local cities & towns (these are marked in light brown), and the major roadways, but has never actually been there. To add new areas to your map, walk to the edge of the map you're on, and keep right on walkin'. Your cursor will change to a wagon wheel, which denotes Travel. Your character will walk off the edge of the map and peer off into the distance, resulting in a new visible area to explore. The game will automatically go to the Map screen, where the new area is marked in blue, meaning that you can go there, but you've never actually been there. Areas that you've already visited are marked in black. To travel from area to area, simply walk off the edge of the map, and then select your destination: Any map area marked in blue or black (it does not have to be adjacent to your current location).
Don't worry about spamming & moderators (at least, not TOO much) until you get used to the forum, Dude 77.
