Hey there. I am in the Crypt..the first one everyone goes through near Valeia...I have done the elevator...ran around..killed a banshee...have no idea how to open the metal gates blocking the hallways...there are three of them..two that are almost underwater...and one across from a statue that has been moved..

The two gates in the water can't be opened until after you've gotten through the one opposite the Angel. That one requires you to have an amulet from one of the chests in the crypt. Oh, and a hint ... don't sell that amulet once you're done with it!

The Amulet has to be "read" to the statue of Kerah. Right click on it in your inventory screen, and go from there. It's a very powerful item!
