Thanks for your suggestions, but it didn´t help. I guess it´s a bug and I´ll try to delete the whole game (saving my savegames of course) and then I´ll reinstall it. Hope this hepls (hepled before with similar problems; e.g. couldn´t persuade the guy in the magic shop, that I talked to Scabban, or the guy in the armory that I prayed already at the altar of kerah to become a paladin).

Sorry to hear that. Don't give up on the game though... if you have further problems maybe the help-desk here could help you. I know that the unofficial patch fixes the problem with not getting credit for quests when you interrupt the speech the giver of the quest upon completion of it. It might be worth a try!
