Can anyone kill Signeur Pastollio, the dude in the stouts mine who you have to give the writ to?

I don't think I ever tried!
Does your cursor target him as attackable?
Do you have spells/weapons that would do him in? (of course you do!)
Who will get you into the mines (or out) once you off him though?! ;)

I never have been able to. I've tried giving him a hotfoot with "Flamedrop" and even "Burning Haze" but to no effect...he just stands there and takes it. I think he's a robot and is made of Adamatium or Eternium or something like that...sheesh!

I tried EVERYTHING I possibly could with a party of about 25th level and nada. I spent a half hour throwing stuff at him, nothing.
