having only played the game for a few days, i'm on my way to the serpent temple after the meeting with the oracles of Ishad N'ha, but i can't seem to go any further.... :(

can someone help me out here??

What do you mean? Are you stuck in the caves where the oracles are? If so, talk to them about destiny, and have the signet of the mavin with you, and just talk to them and hear them out.

If you've no idea how to get beyond the serpent temple (as in, you've already been there), then you really do literally want to get to the other side of Ishad N'ha. There are two town gates, the one on the left will exit you towards shurugeon castle and beyond.

Where you will want to beware the infamous mantraps... do a search for "mantrap" [img]graemlins/showoff.gif[/img]

Have the oracles opened the way forward for you - have you talked to them with the character wearing the Malvin Ring (ie from Nivius's Tomb) - have you said the correct word (exhaust all dialogue options).

If you have done all that, the Serpent Temple is down at the end of the river - enterance is around the back (front door is locked).

When you do get to the Serpent Temple - be sure to talk to Kol completely. Don't go running off and doing other things until you've completed your conversation. He will disappear when you break off the conversation so if you don't complete it the first time, you don't get a second chance.
