In my old file after i exited the mines, i went to the bandit camp. In my new file, i talked to Vai, and talked to elminster. What is it I need to do now?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? !?!?!?!?!??!?!!?!??!!?!?!??!!?

You need to go to the top floor of one of the inns in Beregost (The Feldpost, i think). There you'll find a lackey messenger for Tazok. Interrogate him, and the Bandit Camp will appear on your map.
