I just finished Anephas' Shrine. I came out in the middle of nowhere and I killed ole Double Ugly the Pi-rate. Now I need to get back to Brimlock Room. Do I have to go all the way back through the shrine?...No I don't have teleport. Is there another path?

Unless you have CALL OF HOME - you're going to have to walk back through the shrine.

Get Create Portal, Teleport and Call of Home ASAP!! These are very useful/necessary in the Lost Sea area!

Ok but what level will I need for Call Home?...I just have a couple of Low Level Warlocks ( with level 7 mage and priest spells). And I can't seem to get out of the pit after the spike room. yes I did push the button. Nothing happened...I'm doomed...

You're not doomed - just in a bit of difficulty! ;)

HAve you been having your warlocks learn MOON MAGIC -
Create Portal and Teleport are level 6 spells; Call of Home is a level 7 spell.

Okay - Do you have VANISH?? You can save your game and try using that to get you to the exit above/off of the spike room. OR

You can collect crates and make yourself a "ladder".

BTW - the button thing does work but there have been reports of it being "tricky" at times. If you can get back to it -
Save your game and try it with each different character and see if it works with one of them. It really should.

Otherwise - try for the Vanish or make your own ladder solutions.
