Yep, Oakenmir generates a lot of XP. In my Zenmaster solo game, I think Lady Tigra rose some 40 levels or so, and was around level 60 when it was all done.

You got ten times more XP (11 839 000 XP) [img]smile.gif[/img] Oakenmir is really overpriced. Why? Nobody knows. Perhaps, it's a bug in the game.

I am thinking about killing Oakenmir but I don't remember if he serves any purpose in the game.

Are any quest related to Oakenmir? I have only just recently completed the Dragon Spire so I have only done a few quest in Brimloch.

If you have not got the patience to seek out and kill (or pickpocket) some bark horrors for their seeds I believe Oakenmir has a seed which you will need to complete the seed quest given to you by the wizards guild in Brimloch Roon.

I am not sure whether Oakenmir always drops the seed. He can (and when I tried to kill him, he did) drop it. But I haven't read anywhere that he always does.
Anyway, if you are planning to kill Oakenmir then keep in mind those 10 mil XP. I you are playing solo then it means 40 levels up. If you are playing an elf then it means more than 40 levels up. If you are playing a party of characters then divide the 40 levels by the size of your party. Now, you must be able to allocate all skill points you will get. If you fail then you lose the game :D
