I have some questions in Ishad N´ha

1. I did not get a key from Kol at the serpents temple, and now he is gone... what shall I do, what for is this key?

2. Do I need 10 Serpin goldpieces per character for the 1st Thief Quest (means in addition 60) or do I need only 10 for all, like the Orb or the sword of mastus, where the others gain also the reward?

3. Which restrictions have a bard? I wonder if I turn my priest into a bard..

1: Kol's key opens a hidden room in the Serpent Temple. There is a statue of Kerah there that foretells a prophecy. And there are a couple of ankhs. You can still easily finish the game without having visited the room.

2: Yes, you need 10 coins per character

3: The bard cannot learn spirit and vine magic. Instead he or she learns moon magic and fiend magic, although you have to have a fiend magic level that is twice the level of the spell you wish to train in order to train it.

kols key isnt that important, it just get you some treasure and stuff from a "Secret" area nere the monky chute

If your Priests Spirit and maybe Vine spells are nice and high say Level 7 or above - I would recommend transitioning into a Bard

Moon Magic rocks
and Fiend magic, although dangerous to the novice is also quite impressive

GET MOON MAGIC soon as possible

The 10 gold Serpin pieces

I recollect that if you have 10 you can get your first character improved,
But when you are talking to the quest owner, open Inv and move the 10 Serpins into your next character

As I said I think this is how I worked it - others will advise you if I am wrong

yup i agree! moon magic is an absolute neccesity for travelling across distances, but u may take some time to get those good magics like "Call of Home" and the "teleport" as they are level 6 and 7 magics. but hey, who can stop a W&W diehard from achieving something like this! go for it!!!! Yes, that will work, I've tried that too!
But I learned that too late, I had collected ~50 coins when I get back into town
and noticed that by accident :(
Well But I get XP for killing those serpent servants

Actually, Featherstone, that only works in the unpatched game. In the patched game, you have to listen to every dialogue to its completion... even Sebastio *shudder*

As for the serpin coins, theyr'e not that hard to come by. You have three options to get them:

1. Join the Serpent Temple, pay your dues every time they're due, and buy the coins off the priests. Each priest has one he'll sell you.

2. Join or don't join, but pickpocket the priests to steal their coins. Like Crab Shells and other "dropped" items, you can get multiple chances to steal, while you only get one chance to loot.

3. Kill 'em all, and take whatever drops. Set your monster spawn rate to high, and just wander around. It really doesn't take long...

I already collect about 52 Pieces so it doesn´t matter...
But the trick in the unpatched version collapses with the cheat to reach lvl 7 guildmembership with this one quest, doesn´t it ?!??

Bungleau 04-10-2003 10:39 AM

Don't know. I've not played the unpatched game in a long time, and I never took advantage of the cheat (didn't know it back then :( )
