hi guys maybe someone can help me here. I signed up and was accepted to beta test NW. However whenever I try to login it just keeps sending me back to the login page. I tried sending a e-mail to them but so far have gotten no response. Does anyone else have ths problem and or know ho wto fix it?

The login is a bit twitchy. There is actually a page where you have to select the beta test that you want to particpate in. Did that page come up? The registration and login is simply to get your system specs on record.

the login will come up again when you want to request beta testing. Just login again and you'll be taken to a page where you can request testing.

Sit back and wait. I suspect that they have a LONG list of people wanting to be beta testers. They will likely select several groups of people to test various aspects of the game, such as mplayer performance, game balance, game play, etc. All you can do now is wait for them to contact you to tell you if you made the final cut and which, if any, group you are in. Good Luck! Maybe we'll "see" each other in a beta group!

It is all good now . I can get into the page correctly now and NW is listed as my assignment so I guess I am good to go.

Yeah, they won't be selecting people until the 29th, so we have a few days to wait. Beta testing isn't all that fun, I'd think. I've done years of Alpha testing (on business applications, not games) and it's really tedious work. I can't imagine that doing the beta will be a thrill a minute, but it should provide some insight as to what the game will be like. I hope that testing it doesn't spoil the pre-packaged adventure, though. You might be forced to test elements that give away a lot of the plot without having played it through.

Good points Katherine. I've done some beta testing before and it definitely has its down points as you mentioned. It's a fun experience though, and you actually get to have some input into the final version of the game. Things like, "You know, 3 red dragons and a horde of Cambions led by Asmodeus himself just might be a BIT much for a fifth level party at this point. Think we can ditch one of the dragons?" rotfl
