I am in Cloakwood 2. Cannot figure out how to get past the spiders. They throw webs and I can't move so I of course die. Would really like to complete this game so I can move onto Sword Coast and Shadows of Amn.

<font face="Verdana" size="3" color="#00FF00">Do you have a mage and a thief (ranger)? Use the thief to sneak ahead, when you see some spiders have your mage fireball them, and save after each kill. Main thing is take your time in this area.

Another tactic have one Use a character that has a ring of free action to avoid the web sneak ahead to draw out the spiders than have the rest of your party pepper them with ranged weapons.</font>

have u got a thief? If so use him/her to disarm traps. That way the spiders wont trap u. Good luck! [img]smile.gif[/img]

I move ahead with a tank, and keep the rest clear to fight.
Seems to work well for me.

yeh and get a couple of archers to fire aswell, if u get everybody to fire missile weapons at the spiders ul easily get rid of most of them before they get to you.
