I'm in the passage that is behind the bookcase in Chapter one. Killed the zombies and skeletons, picked up the finger bones, but I can't open the door. Please help.

THIS IS A SPOILER: Before reading on, make sure you have been to Never's tomb in the penninsula district and removed the artifacts from the house. And you can't do that until you get the Letter From Oleff in the Halls of Justice.

Otherwise, you are prematurely attempting a quest/sub-plot thread.

In side the chest, near the door is a NOTE. Read it. Look at the artifacts you got from the original tomb in select the appropriate artifact and place it in the chest. The door will open.

Make sure you read those books you find in bookshelves, dropped by monsters, etc. There are some hints about THIS particular tomb that will make it possible to not die... Or you could rush in, go invisible, and take your chances. It's not like you NEED the hint that there is more than one way to skin a cat...
