I hardly plan on using the cheats for a long time....but I have tried to get the cheat console thing to work in NWN, to no avail. I thought I had done everything right but then I read Darkman's thread about activating the extra blood & gore, and I realized that I had gone into the Nwn.ini file and not the Nwnplayer.ini file and added Debug Mode=1 to it.

So, is the Debug Mode=1 supposed to go under Game Options in Nwn.ini, or in Nwnplayer.ini?

Sorry guys, I hadn't seen the "Cheats?" thread that was posted earlier. That answered all my questions and then some. So you can disregard this altogether.
