Well i am currently playing Baldur´s Gate II with Assasain and Tactics Mod. I`ve started to like Rouges and i was wondering:are Thiefs/Rouges good in NWN Thanx. Xen </font> |
They are reasonably skilled as fighters, and their ability to lay traps makes them lethal...

if you choose the right feats. i chose a wrong 1 and now are stuck with better till i gain another level (level 5 now). Some parts are quiet hard to do, but that could be me. i think the disadvantages are low hp and little damage (if you roleplay, eg use rapiers or short swords).

Sorry, but i've seen that spelling mistake so many times on another NWN forum, I couldn't resist. The only bad thing about a HUMAN rogue in NWN is the appearance. You always have to be big and brawny.</font> |
I've played a halfling rogue and finished the (standard) game at level 16 (although I'm not sure that's a telltale sign of a good class or completely normal).
At first I was more or less forced to hang back and use missile weapons, but later on she could stand her own in most melee fights. The only real problem I had was in fighting those 'bosses' who dislike spellcasting, where a henchman who can cast harm really comes in handy. I suppose laying traps might have worked as well, but then I never could get myself to use limited charge items in any game, unless absolutely neccesary... |
I finished the game at level16 as well (as a Paladin).
It depends on the version of your game.. the higher it gets, the less XP you obtain.. |
