I've already created a character but now I want to change his portrait. Any ideas on how to do this?
|
If you selected one of the standard in game portraits, you can't.
If you are using a custom portrait, it's possible. Simply rename the .tga files of the NEW portrait to match the the names of the .tga files of your OLD portrait. Back up the old portrait files first unless you don't care what happens to them. |
There has to be a way. I found the SetAppearance command. So if you can change what your character looks like you have to be able to change that portrait. For FYI the SetPortrait command did not seem to work. I thought I might get lucky.

Are you using a standard in-game portrait then???

Just curious ... what happened when you tried the SetPortrait command????

That is LETO, a fantastic character editor. Download it. Use it. Problem solved |
Yes people, jump on the train, everyone's using LETO now. Its good for physical appearance and portraits. ;)
|
Leto is great. Thanks for the recs. I got my portrait changed and a little tweaking to my stats. ;)
|
But be aware, using LETO to "tweak" stats will lead to your char being unable to join servers with the "legal characters only" stipulation, such as Undermountain.
|
Yeah I was gonna mention that too but figured you'd find out on your own since there really ain't anything you can do with LETO to cheat as servers will auto reject you once ELC is checked (plus whatever filters the servers have). The program is relatively 'cheat free' when it comes to players attempting to hack up chars (well almost...).
