Bioware enforce a strict heterosexuals only policy in their games (which I find tedious enough in real life). However, in BG2 it was very straightforward to turn on the global flags that the game designers so inconsiderately turned off, if you were playing as a female character. Does anyone know if it possible to do the same in Neverwinter Nights? My female thief has told Aarin Gend that she doesn't want to be more than friends. Is there anyway for her to let Aribeth know that she might be interested?

LOL. Not that I know of unless you're actually willing to script it yourself...

If you open the campaign modules in the toolset, and find the relevant conversations, you should be able to remove the check for gender.

Thanks, that seems to work OK, although not quite as easy as the BG2 fix. I think I've left it too late in the game for Aribeth (maybe next time through), but I've got Rhaine in Luskan talking to me, rather than suggesting that I go find a man - thanks Bioware, like nobody has ever given me that advice before, and none of the available replys came close to what I'd say in real life.

Lol. Well at this stage many of the variables have already taken effect. If you have the know-how you can always script something yourself to make a tailor-made romance.

The romances
(NOT REALLY SPOILER BUT CAN BE TO SOME) ...never really get anywhere in the end do they? Apart from receiving an item... Are there any romances in SOU? [ 09-06-2003, 05:02 PM: Message edited by: shadowolf03 ] |
