Assuming Lord's a member of the human race (I don't know for sure, it is the internet), that's not necessarily the best idea....

ever used the console to get boo in your party? Dunno if it's possible in BG1, but you can do it in BG2... try it, let him attack something, then realise why he fits "Robot who has gone evil and wants to destroy the human race"

Get BG2 and the Sola mod and you get the next best thing to having Boo in your party...
