In the East road, where the troll quest/archaelogist quest is, I am having an issue. In my other game, I was able to talk to Lentan (the guy who attacks the dummy, gives the quest to kill the troll)

In this game, he won't respond. He just keeps attacking over and over, and it says he is too busy to respond. I tried waiting for him to kill the thing, even flamestriked the area, but nothing.

So I tried killing the chieftan and see if he said anything. Nothing. I have the head, but he still is too busy. Any ideas?

I knew what this post would be about from reading the subject line. TONS of people have this problem. Just keep clicking. If it doesn't work, mourn the loss of 300 gp and move on.

Apparently the 1.64 patch fixes this. So patch and try again.

Well, I just got tired and charmed him. That fixed up the problem

But i have another question. I forget who, but I remember a quest to find some of the missing ppl in the caves. Or a person. I found her dead body and the journal, but who gives the quest again?

There's a guy in the archeologists camp that ask you to find his mother. Is that the quest you're refering to?

The dead body and the journal belongs to a henchman quest.

Edit: Doesn't charming Lentan make him turn hostile after the spell expires?

Yeah, thats right, it was the henchmen.
And he doesn't go hostile for me because I already had the head. So i charmed him, got the quest, retalked, and finished the quest. He runs off after that.
