Something's corrupting my save files. It's just one file at a time, but always my most recent. It takes seemingly forever for the game to load, and when it does, the game plays like I'm on a seriously outdated computer. It's like a powerpoint presentation with fifteen minute transitions.

Have you scanned for viruses and spyware?

Also I'd look if your hard disk might have some corrupt sectors. I had that as well in my temp internet files but I had to format to fix that :( (even DOS crashed on it.) If this is the problem you can also change the save game path in your nwn.ini file.

BTW if you mean the most recent do you mean if you save twice under a different name that only the last one is corrupted?

mabye your computer is kinda slow for nwn ?
or mabye its starts to go slow when you use all the disc space with games dvd and stuff.
mabye formating the comp will be a nice solution for you :9

I think it's just my computer. Seems I meet the standard requirements, which appears to be enough to play most of the game. I can't bother getting a new PC (this one's fairly new anyway), nor can I worry myself with updating it, as I'm only here for another month or so.

I've given up on trying to finish SoU. I'll keep my save file, and whenever it is I get a faster computer, I'll be sure to finish it.
