I wonder if I have missed something. I kept running into ghosts in the spider cave below the beholder cave. In one encounter I heard them talk of the devil hunter, an interesting subject given who I will enventualy encounter. Was I supposed to try and talk to them is it just some piece of trivia to get me to bash the big spider. By the way a shield golem does this vey well.

You can't talk to them, they're just part of the atmosphere.
