Should they be high or low?
Low. The lower they are, the better the chance of you making a saving chance against a spell the permits you to make a saving throw.
Great! What are they rolled with? d20?
Yeah... Why?
Your saving throws are predetermined, and lower as you advance levels.
Don't try to kep rolling characters and hope for lower saves, it will just happen. |
Just wondering how likely is it for my Xan to save against three charm persons. If I understand this right, it should be something like his save vs. spells/(20*3).
noo... since you need to roll the number on the d20 dice to make the save...
following your formula it would seem the higher the better... it is actually: ((20-his save vs spell+1)/20)*3 [ 10-09-2004, 01:53 PM: Message edited by: ZFR ] |
Well, this question in particular can vary widely, depending on whether or not BG1 incorporates Elves' 90% resistance to Charm and Sleep spells.
Saving Throws are determined by class and level. In addition, Dwarves, Halflings and Gnomes enjoy some Saves bonuses as a result of having a high Constitution. |
