O.K. Let me be the first to say that I am royally confused. Where do I un rar this module. Let the taunting begin

I don't think that you're un-RARing the module, just the portrait pack and so forth. NWN is pretty easy to fiddle around with, I just look for the file extentions that are already in place in the various subdirectories from the NWN directory. Those ending in .erf go in the erf directory, those with .tlk in the tlk directory and so on. So un-RAR it somewhere where you can see the files and just move them where you find similar files in the various subdirectories from where-ever you installed NWN. If you have any left over you can take a guess or holler for more help.

Thanks. It is now telling me that " arnaden_base.hak" is missing. I don't even see this anywhere..... I'll keep looking around / begging for help.

That sounds like an absence of the portrait pack, I didn't know that it shut you out of the module. Have you put the .hak files in the /hak directory? I'm trying to help, but I'm pretty clueless myself; I hope that that reassures you!

Not sure about this but, if I recall, arnaden is a baic CEP file. Can you get into any server using CEP?

If not, then the problem may be with the CEP download (I have had problems downloading from bioware's site). If it is, then try downloading the CEP from a different site. Boring I know, but worth a try.

I foiund the file and moved it over to the Hak folder, but then it crashed NWN completely. I just reinstalled it and was able to load up, get to the site and get my butt spanked soundly in the sewers. Thanks for all the help and advice!!!

I assume that you just re-ran the game, a complete re-install of the game is a pain. I'm glad that everything works well for you now. If you're having trouble in the sewers try the Tradeway, just don't go to the Trollbark Forest (it's guarded by a beholder).
