Okay please spoil me here. I have been looking to where to obtain this magical drow trinket. I remember someone helped me get one but forget where to get it. I have been looking ages just to give to my up and coming characters I have in mind. So please spoil me [img]smile.gif[/img]

Consider yourself spoiled; you have to speak to one of the Drow Priestesses, and do a job for her to get it. She'll give you the details, oh, on lvl 13.

BTW this quest is no where near as easy as it used to be. Now you HAVE to fight to complete it. before you could be sneaky

now.. where is that underpitt? hmmm...

Any help on where to find the underpit to complete the quest? Had a run around, accidentally got in a fight with the entire drow population and got my arse kicked, but didn't see the pit.

The pit is right behind the tower where you get the quest. :D

And while we're on the topic of finding things, where do you get the Boots of the diamond +8?

yeah unmarked entrance near the tower of the map for underpitt.. watch out for those beasties.. they hurt pretty hard.

So far as I know there is only one set of Boots of the Diamond +8.

It is in one of the two crates on lvl 12 right by the gate between levels 11 and 12 - close to where Delundyir stands.

Yeah, found it there myself not too long after I posted, wa one of the last places I had thought to look, just checked because I came by anyway.
Always remembered those two chests as having mediocre loot.
Bad news is that I'll have to redo Mad Slasher once again because he doesn't have the use magic device skill high enough for him to use those boots...

IIRC the use magic device will have to be greater than 25, I have never been able to use them so far.
