I have been having to turn off the Home PC here, since the Ironworks Forum server is in the other room, and it's surge protection. is full of plugs.

But no longer. I cannot risk it. Surges hit sometimes when no lightning is around, so I got the APC 90Min Surge & Batt Backup. (90=14 Min's for the PC, Monitor and other items) Bloody thing cost nearly $100... But I guess it's cheaper than replacing $3800 worth of PC stuff.

So no worries now, let the storms COME!... er.. no. JUST KIDDING! *zap*

Wow! I think it's a lot better than losing the server to a sudden surge or lightning! :D Good news!
