I saw the movie 'Unbreakable' the other week, and wondered what others thought of it.

Personally, I liked the film a lot, but the ending, which was hyped up to be a real twist like that of Sixth Sense, I kinda guessed a while before the end. I have to admit that Bruce Willis has grown on me as an actor in recent years, but a lot of his roles are fairly similar. The acting generally I thought was good.

But this one wasn't as good as the Sixth Sense.

(please warn if you post plot spoilers!!)

No it wasn't as good as sixth sense (which was outstanding) but I really liked it for what it was... a kindof modern day superhero movie. I thought the acting was solid and the plot was engaging.

I think they screwed that movie when they sold it as a "sixth sense like" movie... it's not.

I thought the movie so-so at best, a real ho-hummer. (don't particularly care for Willis) But the end got me! Now that one I did *not* see coming. (well, didn't think anybody would actually employ it, at any rate)

It's been a while since I last saw it, but it was rather good and enjoyable. No Sixth Sense, I agree with that, but I think a comparison is just unfair; the only things they had in common storywise was that there was a surprising twist at the end.

But I heard Unbreakable is going to be a trilogy (!)... Is that true, and how in the world are they gonna pull hat off?

If you think about it it's set up as the beginning of a story. The hero figures out who he is (at the very end) and the villian hasn't yet "faced off" against the hero.

It could be that they're never going to due the other two movies because of the poor performance of the first though. Too bad if that's the case.
