Point of discussion:
At the end of the movie is Anderton dreaming under a halo or in the real world?

My vote is he is dreaming. The whole ending came together way to perfectly, like it would in a dream. Also the pre-cog vision of the commissioner killing John was different then what happened. The pre-cog vision showed him being shot in the kitchen. The confrontation took place on the balcony.

Also remember the tech in the jail said "they say under the halo all your dreams come true..."

PS I read the source story by PK Dick and this is the first time I have seen a movie be better then the source material.

Now I am going to wonder that forever! I had assumed that it was all real until you reminded me of that part! Now I feel that it was all a dream from the moment he got locked up!!!
