Is this series in any way related to Robin Hobb's Assassin Trilogy and is it any good?

well considering its written by Jude Fisher i think not! Im currently reading "The Golden Fool" at the moment, its the second book in the second assassin trilogy. Iv read them all so far and the next one is coming out very soon if it isnt already out, so im looking forward to reading it!!

But different authors can and do write books all set in the same world, Forgotten Realms for example. There is also the fact that the cover designs are the same.

yeh but the forgotten realms books by different authors are all totally different. The guy who does the covers for the assasin books also does a lot of other books. If u have a look around youl be surprised how much he actually does do!
