I watched it last night. I would have to say that that is a very confusing movie! It's style was very good.

What really disturbed me was the sex scenes. I mean, I have absolutely nothing against sex with a beautiful woman :D But rape scenes disturb me exceptionally much.

The clashes between reality and illusion were very well made - You don't really know what happened ;)

Don't expect the very end of the movie to be good ;) Though I liked it for certain reasons, many people think it sucks.

It was ok, mainly it featured exceptional animation and lifelike storytelling. Otherwise, not a particularly compelling story. An interesting window into japanese culture, though.

Interesting tid-bit: Madonna used Perfect Blue shots in one of her performances!
Great movie, stands out proudly on my DVD shelf. Many of my non-anime loving friends also liked it.
