The film version, I mean. I really didn't understand the ending (SPOILERS)
- - - - - - - - - - - - - The word 'snails' blew off and the gem started to glow. The elf said something like "It is time to rejoin your friend". After the an, woman, elf, and dwarf touched the gem they turned into specks of light and flew upwards. So... Which of these is correct? 1) They went up to heaven to stay with snails permanently 2) They went to heaven for a bit to pay him a visit 3) They went up to bring him down [ 02-21-2004, 03:11 PM: Message edited by: Jaradu ] |
I guess 3, but that movie is so bad I just don't give it much thought. Not that it's BAD bad, but it's bad enough.

True, it's nothing compared to... WILLOW!

There are several threads on this film kicking around, I suggest a search as I expect this will have come up before.
Frankly I didn't really notice the end being particularly stupid. In comparison with the rest of it I mean... |
Ah for Christ sake not another thread like this. Next time someone brings up a thread similar to this is going face to face with PAIN!
j/k. I want to see it to see how cheesy it is! |
I *heart* Willow. It had a kickass soundtrack done by James Horner (the same guy responsible for the soundtracks to Titanic and Braveheart and a lot more movies) and it actually had a plot that trumped the special effects, which puts it far beyond the D&D movie, if you ask me. Oh, and everyone could act in Willow. I doubt the actress who played the princess/regent in the D&D movie knew how to emote, much less act.

*realised he has made a total ass of himself*
