Comments? Does he make or ruin songs? Which is better for him, parodies or originals? Should he have gotten rid of the moustache? What's your favorite song? Am I depraved for liking his music?

He improves upon songs ex. "Fat"

His parodies may be better.

Wierd Al isn't Wierd Al without the moustache.

I like "Yoda".

No you are not depraved.</font>

I always thought his parodies were the best. And, no, you are not depraved for liking his music. You can rest easy now.

Make. Parodies. No. Amish Paradise. No.

His old stuff is better. He's much more suited to make fun of others' songs - I can't picture him as a "serious" artist. Some of his stuff is hilarious, so depravity is not an issue (or at least it's excused).

Edit: because I'm a fool. Gangsters Paradise is the Coolio song he parodied, Amish Paradise was what he came up with.

I love the eleven minute monologue "Albuquerque." It's the best...

Anyone ever try to imagine what kind of architect he would have been? He does have a degree in it...oh, and "Fat" and "Amish Paradise" were awesome...I also think he improved upon the original in "Smells like Nirvana," but I'm sure to step on some toes that way!

I love his parodies. Here's a good one:

The eBay song...

Definitely a parody that improved on the original, VulcanRider...

Thanks!!! I'd not heard this one. Great one.

Weird Al is great for a laugh. For me, I've noticed that if I own his albums, I almost never listen to them. But then, some days, you've just got that hankering to hear Y-O-D-A, Yoda, and you can't find it anywhere!!

I don't listen to his albums much either, but when a song comes on that he's parodie.. parody... made fun of, I end up singing his lyrics.

Me too, VR! I don't know how many times I've sang "The Saga Begins" while "American Pie" was playing...oh, and I love YODA...but I've never heard LOLA...I think if I ever did, I'd just burst out laughing...
