I was flipping channels this morning, and came across the old John Carpenter movie Prince of Darkness. They rated it one star out of four; this is about right, considering that the acting is horrible, the film quality stinks, etc. However, I still like this movie. It has some genuinely scary moments (especially the dream sequences) and I think it is a decent horror movie. Thus, I would call this a "guilty pleasure": a movie you know is bad, but enjoy watching anyway.

Does anyone else have a "guilty pleasure" movie that they know is bad but like anyway?

The Avengers

I watched Prince of Darkness for the first time last night.. and I got'a say - not to bad, certainly better than 1 star.

In fact NONE of the movies mentioned thus far are that bad.

So whats a bad movie that can inspire a guilty pleasure.. hmm,

but anyway, South Park, Bigger Longer and Uncut is a top quality movie that is definitely in the "bad" camp...but I love it...

Army of Darkness too...

the labyrinth with David Bowie, yeah it was really bad acting, but for some reason I liked it...and am probably the only one who does :D
