Good, evil, crazy, stupid, whatever is your favorite. My personal is:
Me (Fighter/Thief) Xzar Eldoth Kaigan Viconia Edwin To my knowledge, all of the evil NPC's seem better than the good ones... And, as you probably noticed, my party was evil then. [ 06-05-2005, 10:23 PM: Message edited by: Kyrvias ] |
i've run through with the vanilla characters multiple times and enjoyed it every time.
This is by no means my strongest party; it is merely a fun party: PC Minsc Dynaheir Xzar (kill montarin and drop him to keep only Xzar) Jaheira (she will argue and fight Xzar) Edwin (fun with Dynaheir and Minsc...oh yeah, what a combo :D ) |
Monteron is actually a good character if you work his stats to pick locks and find traps, or you can tank him

I'm on my second time thru BG/TotSC, and I've never played an evil party - just seems wrong to me, since your fighting evil I guess. My new party is the best yet:
Michael / Fighter - Neutral Good Minsc - coolest NPC ever Dynaheir -once I get her the robe of the archmagi and later the ring wizardry she is AWESOME Branwen - I am a strong warrior, and she respects that Imoen - well, vanilla, but she was there at the beginning, so I don't have the heart to drop her Garrick - last time I took the archer for the wyvern quest (Kivan?), but this time I decided a bard would be fun, and my decision has paid off. A well played bard is an asset to any party. |
When playing a good alignment, I use Azred (mage), Ajantis, Branwen, Safana, and either Minsc/Dynaheir or Khalid/Jaheria. Khalid is actually quite effective....
When playing evil, I use Malekith (cleric/mage), Safana, Shar-Teel, Viconia, Xzar, and Kagain. Honestly, I haven't tried too many other NPCs. I have never used Coran, Faldorn, Skie, Eldoth, Alora, Tiax, or Yeslick. |

I don't see it as fighting evil. I see it as trying to locate whoever killed Gorion, and is after you. If that means fighting evil people, then so be it. It works, no matter what alignment you want to play. Evil people can fight evil people ya know... |
I see your point.
