I've got a dilema. I'm trying to create more than 1 character for Baldurs gate. I was told to use the multi-player mode and create several characters, then transfer them into single player mode. Fact is I don't know how to do it. Could you help me out in giving me a detailed description of how to do this. My e-mail is codeblue009@yahoo.com. I really would appreciate any help I could get. I knew that you could do this for BGII, but not BGI...
I have never tried it, but I think I remember that you start a game, make a character, then you save that...then start another game and pull the saved person from the file(#1)into your #2 game. I think that is how they do it. If anyone else wishes to add anything that I left out, please do so...or maybe they have already e-mailed you on it, though it would be good for you to post that you have been answered, since we don't know if you have received instruction through the e-mail.

I guess you are talking about this:

Create a MP character with all the self-made characters you want. Then start the game, and save it. Now go to your BG directory and take the saved games folder (for example c:\BGate\save\Quicksave ) and copy it into the MPsave directory (for example c:\BGate\MPsave\Quicksave ). Now go to the main menu in the game, select one player and load the copied game, so you will have your characters but the game wont be as slow as in Multiplayer.

Larry... i think Ziroc cleaned this gif of the lightning in your signature... i mean that he removed this black background from it and now its transparent... but i cant remember where did he place it. If i find it again i will tell you ok ??

Thanks to everyone for giving me some help. I'll try to do as was prescibed, and hopefully it will work. I appreciate everyone responding to me quickly. Maybe I can finally finish the first Baldurs gate. I had the game almost finished with my just 1 character, until my system crashed and I has to re-install all my operating system and software. That really sucked, but I'm learning my PC. Thanks a million and feel free to e-mail me if youy have any other ideas.
