Has anyone seen the ads for this new show? Supposedly on of the deadliest years on everest ever. One of the guides in the group from the show actually dies which shows how intense the climb is.

My brother has climbed kilimanjaro, the every man's everest, which i thought was cool, but climbing everest must be amazing

I'm really quite happy here around sea level!

Me too, I think 11 people died on Everest last season, just too dangerous for me. Although at sea level i guess we might get flooded

Want to read to good books about everest?

One is "Into thin Air" Jon K

And the other is "Climb"

All about the climb in 96. Where we lost many great climbers. Rob Hall And Scott Fisher.

I've read "Into Thin Air", it started my Everest love a while back. It is a really great read, but I'm looking forward to seeing some of the camerawork tonight when Everest premieres. From the commercials I've seen some of the shots are gorgeous and terrifiying at the same time.

I will definitely check out "Climb" for a weekend read
