I'm at a crossroads, I have to choose either bodhi or gayle for information on emowen. I'm a paladin and I have no clue which one will be better for me. I don't mind spoilers in this case so please give me your opinios.

If you look at it from a purely role-playing point of view, I would go with Gayle. Bhodi is the 'evil' way to go and I doubt a Paladin would side with the vampires http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif Either way you go, you end up at the same place, and you get a couple of good items one way or the other, so I would just think about what your character would do and go that way http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

You get slightly more experience going with Bodhi, and you get the same items as with Gaylen + one more. But, it is the evil path. I'd only go with Bohdi if you are playing an Evil character.

SPOILER:

I went with gayle and things workin good

Technically a good thing to do would be to side with Bohdi - that way you get to inflict serious damage to both thieves and (later) the vampires :D
But from a Role-playing standpoint a paldin would have a hard time cooperating with vampires |
the silver sword is one of my fave weapons and you cant get it with gayle. :(

I am voting for Bodhi. Evil take Good and evil paths and RPG's points of view! If you select Bodhi, then:
1. You do not lose any item which you can get when you select Gayle. 2. You get Rifthome Axe - a perpetual throwing axe +3, and an Elven Chain Mail +1. You also get some less important items. 3. The night streets will be free of vampires - a really welcome state at the beginning of the game. 4. Bodhi des not want you to do anything evil. Well, one quest has two forms: a "good" and an "evil" one. You can select the "good" possibility. 5. The selection of Bodhi does not affect anything in the future. But beware! 1. You must finish Mae'Var's quest first. Once you select Bodhi, the thieves become your enemies and Renald Bloodscalp vanishes from the game. Therefore, you are losing Renald's reward if you go to Bodhi too soon. 2. You must buy/steal all wanted items from the thief shops in the Docks first. The same reason. No more thief shops in the Docks after selecting Bodhi. We are speaking about 2 shops: the one in the Mae'Var's Guild and the one in the Thief Headquarters. 3. Bodhi will wait for you about 30 days after delivering her invitation to you. Don't let her wait too long. 4. You must not enter Gayle's home after getting the invitation from Bodhi if you plan to select her. When you enter Gayle's home, you are supposed to have selected Gayle automatically no matter what you do there. No more Bodhi. Note: 1. Mace of Disruption +1 is in its place on both paths. If you have selected Bodhi, simply go and take it. 2. Arkanis Gath. Yes, you will fight Arkanis Gath if you select Bodhi. But now, Arkanis Gath is a normal opponent that can be killed and that does not have his instant kill ability. He is strong but manageable. 3. Have 15000 gold ready when you go to Bodhi. |
Is it still possible to get the silver sword if you've gone with Gayle?
|
Ok, I chose the side of Bodhi, (hey, I'm a thief) and I've also gotten the container, but I can't find that b*tch anywhere, could someone PLEASE help me? >.< I've even killed a dragon while I was waiting, this is frustrating, haveing good characters, and being unable to progress
