Okay - in the Lower Monestary area there is a square safe like thingie that requires a KEY to open - where is that key??

There was another lock way back there that required a round key and after searching high and low, I gave up looking for it and pressed onward. I finally found it in Arnika so took the return trip to the monestary - was hoping that beyond that door I would find the key for the safe thingie but no joy.

Anyone know where it is to be found??

click the hand and a spot in the wall will open up - key is there [img]smile.gif[/img]

Ah so - thought it might be in that area - since I know what does happen when you touch the statue and just avoided it! ;)

Major snarfles -

Doesn't work. Went to the room and touched the statue and while the floor will open up, nothing else does - I can see where it is supposed to, but it doesn't open.
I tried touching the statue - nada.
Reading the sign and touching the statue - nada.
Touching the statue from this side and that side and the back side - nada.
I even decided to try touching the statue and falling through the floor - nada. :(

SOOOOOOOOOOO - is there anything IMPORTANT in that safe??? Or can I just skip this thing?

Maybe you have to click on the skull that the statue is holding?

yes, it *has* to be the skull.

You have to target the skull, Wyvern. And, no, there's just a random item in the safe...a pretty good one, actually, but just random. SAVE before you open! That way, you can get different items and choose between them. I went with the Bronze Cuirass; it seemed to be the best.
